Mike Brown has signed a short-term deal with Leicester after Sportsmail revealed the former England full-back had joined the Tigers on a trial basis.
Brown, who won 72 international caps, had been without a club after leaving Newcastle at the end of last season. He previously had a glittering 16-year spell with Harlequins.
Now the 37-year-old is back in English club rugby after joining Leicester and will provide back-line cover at Welford Road.

‘To join a club like this with all its history is amazing,’ Brown said. ‘When Leicester offer you the chance to go into the environment, it is a hard one to turn down.
‘To get the chance to come into the environment has been great so far and a really positive experience for me.
‘I have felt sharp and I still believe I have a part to play in the game. I didn’t believe it was my time to stop because I felt good and I still feel good. I have been staying fit.’
