The numbers favour Freo

Having lost 12 of their last 13 games, and sitting just a game clear of bottom-placed Adelaide, North Melbourne are limping to the finish line.

Meanwhile, after starting the year 0-4, the Dockers have now won six of their last 11 games and have the chance to draw level on wins with Melbourne and/or Carlton by the end of the round. It’s been a hell of a turnaround from Justin Longmuir's side.

Fremantle have won three of their last four against North, including an 82-point drubbing last time these two sides met 18 months ago.
