New Orleans Saints left tackle Terron Armstead, a two-time Pro Bowler, will miss the Week 12 matchup against the Denver Broncos after testing positive for COVID-19.
Armstead tweeted the news Saturday, writing: "Found out this morning that I tested positive for Covid! I feel completely normal and ready to go play with my guys tomorrow. Unfortunately that can’t happen and while that (exp sucks, I can’t downplay the impact covid has had on so many lives. Everyone stay safe #WhoDat"
New Orleans is slated to fly to play at Denver on Sunday. According to The Athletic, several players are currently in contact-tracing protocol.

Quarterback Taysom Hill will start again Sunday as Drew Brees remains out and on the injured reserve due to fractures to his ribs.
The Saints are also without starting left guard Andrus Peat, who dealing with a concussion. Veteran backups James Hurst and Nick Easton are the most likely replacements at left tackle and left guard.
Armstead's COVID-19 diagnosis is the second for the team this regular season after wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders tested positive in October.
