Tommy Fury will make his highly anticipated return to the boxing ring against 2-0 light heavyweight Jordan Grant, in a bout that will take place on the undercard of Daniel Dubois vs. Bogdan Dinu.

Fury, who rose to fame thanks to his appearance on Love Island, was widely rumoured to be next in line to face Jake Paul, with the two men trading insults on social media.

However, with the YouTuber now slated to face former UFC champion Tyron Woodley, Fury will continue his rise up the professional boxing ranks.

The 22-year-old, who has amassed a professional boxing record of 5-0, has received criticism for fighting poor opposition during the early stages of his career.

Fury’s previous five opponents have a combined record of 12 wins and 174 losses.

The undefeated Grant, therefore, represents a clear step in the right direction for Fury’s career and will likely be ‘TNT’s’ toughest test yet.

On the same night, Daniel Dubois will also return to the boxing ring, seven months after he was handed the first loss of his professional career by Joe Joyce.

Dubois, who was considered by many the best British heavyweight of his generation, was systematically and savagely dismantled by Joyce. Following the bout, it was revealed that Dubois had suffered a broken orbital bone and nerve damage around his left eye courtesy of Joyce’s piston-like jab.

Whether Dubois is mentally strong enough to bounce back after suffering his first career loss remains to be seen.

Dinu, who has only lost to Kubrat Pulev and Jarrell Miller, is a seasoned veteran. Dubois will have to box well if he is to return to winning ways against the Romanian and resume his march up the heavyweight ladder.
