Jake Paul appears to have started to train for a switch to the UFC after the YouTube sensation posted a video showing off his brutal kicks in the gym.

The YouTuber turned boxer currently has a 5-0 professional record but has hinted at walking away from the sport to switch to mixed martial arts and end his feud with UFC chief Dana White.

Paul recently stated on Twitter that he would retire from boxing and enter the UFC to fight Jorge Masvidal if White adhered to his demands.

It appears he is already training for an MMA bout after sharing footage from his training on Instagram.

The Problem Child uploaded a video of himself in the gym with one of his coaches showing off a series of kicks as he worked on a pad.

Paul produced two fierce right-legged kicks in the video, which he captioned: “1st day training kicks. Doubted every step of the way.. but kick down the doors of the doubters.”

He also tagged both Bellator and the Professional Fighters League, perhaps hinting that he is keen on a move to MMA regardless of whether it is in the UFC.

Fans were quick to take to the comments on the post to discuss the footage and Paul's potential switch from boxing to MMA.

Another commented: “Imagine he becomes an MMA fighter," followed by a skull emoji.

Others were more supportive as one replied: “This man ain’t playing now.”

A fourth fan hyped up Paul as they commented: “Keep proving them wrong.”

Paul is yet to face a fellow boxer in his professional career, with his five victories coming against a fellow YouTuber, a retired basketball player and two veteran UFC fighters.

His two most recent fights have seen him defeat former UFC champion Tyron Woodley, first by split decision and then via a brutal knockout.
