Jake Paul claims PPV figures are "bull**** after Masvidal calls him "b**** boy"

Jake Paul has hit back at UFC star Jorge Masvidal’s claims that the YouTuber recorded poor pay-per-view figures in his rematch with Tyron Woodley by calling them “bull****”.

Social media star-turned-boxer Paul went 5-0 after delivering a sixth-round knockout against Tyron Woodley earlier this month in their rematch, but was mocked by Masvidal for only drawing in 65,000 PPV buys.

Masvidal had said on Twitter: "B**** boy can't afford the big boys. Never again do I want to hear my name associated with the fake. 3 0 5 [Masvidal's Miami area code] day is coming.”

But Paul, 24, has not taken the accusation lightly and took to social media to hit back against ‘Gamebred’.

Paul wrote: "The PPV number rumors are bull****.

"1st fight w Woodley we sold 500k+.

"Numbers for this one are still rolling in but still looking positive.

"Not my best business night. But remember. Everyone wanted to see me Vs. Fury and that's what we sold."

Reports suggest the rumoured 65,000 is slightly misleading, with it coming from DAZN's Steven Muehlhausen.

The number does not include figures from digital buys, which would bump up the total considerably when considering Paul's huge social media presence.

Paul’s dispelling of the accusation is the latest in a war of words between the controversial boxer and various UFC stars, including its president Dana White.

The Problem Child is already hoping to fight the next big name from the UFC after defeating former welterweight champion Woodley, calling out the likes of Masvidal, Nate Diaz and current welterweight champion Kamaru Usman.

But White has played down the hype by brutally telling Jake Paul to fight a boxer and someone in his own weight class.

White said: “You notice he only wants to f****** fight everybody that’s not in his own weight class. Guys that are older and all this bull****. Go find a boxer. Go hump somebody else’s leg you goofball.”
