Floyd Mayweather earned so much from Logan Paul fight he could buy Bezos’ jet

Floyd Mayweather earned so much money from his exhibition bout with Logan Paul he could purchase Jeff Bezos' private jet.

Mayweather led a lucrative career, and he earned himself the nickname 'money' thanks to the massive purses he would take home from bouts.

And his exhibition bout with the YouTuber over the summer was no different with his purse over a reported $100million (£74million).

Mayweather claimed: “I’m the only person you know that could do a fake fight and get 100 M's.

“I could do legalised sparring and get 100 M's. Am I the best bank robber? Because I don't know nobody in sports that's my age and can still stack 'em up like that.”

Meanwhile he Amazon billionaire owns a $65million (£48million) private jet, that he was recently spotted relaxing on with his girlfriend Lauren Sanchez.

Bezos purchased a Gulf Stream G6050ER in 2015 for $65million, as well as a hanger, believed to be around $5.5million, and the annual cost of running the jet, which can range between $500,000 and £1million.

This means the private jet could have cost Bezos $76million (£56million) since its purchase.

But Mayweather could easily purchase a similar item with his purse.

The 44-year-old has a perfect 50-0 record with 27 wins via knockout.

However, he hasn't had a professional bout since 2017, when UFC star Conor McGregor stepped into the ring for an unprecedented cross-sport bout.

Mayweather has since continued to fight in exhibition bouts against the likes of Paul and undefeated kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa.

After the Logan fight, Mayweather said: "I was surprised by him tonight Good little work. Good guy.

He added: "They say 'It's not all about the money' but the thing is… your kids can't eat legacy.

"Patches on my trunks are worth $30 million alone, so who is the smartest man in boxing really?
