Eddie Hall has broken his silence after initially not speaking to the media following his defeat to arch-rival Hafthor Bjornsson.
Hall had Bjornsson on the ropes early on when he caught the Icelander with two massive blows, leaving him on the canvas. However, Bjornsson also had Hall on the canvas after a massive shot – and Bjornsson was awarded the win via unanimous decision.
The English strongman had first snubbed speaking to the media, so disappointed with his defeat. While Bjornsson had soaked up the adulation of the crowd, he even offered Hall a rematch despite saying he thinks their beef was squashed.
Hall eventually emerged late on Saturday night, though, on Instagram and said: "You know what, I can take things as a man. It is what it is, that's boxing.
"At the end of the day I've just fought the biggest man on the planet in a boxing match. I'd like to see anyone else get the balls and do that. It's been a hell of a journey; I've enjoyed it and hopefully, there's a rematch and we can do business again.

"I want to wish everyone out there.. that you're staying safe, sating positive and you keep moving forward in life. The most important thing is family; this gorgeous baby [Hall's wife] is my rock and no matter what happens I get to go home to her and the kids."
Bjornsson said after the bell: "On my behalf, understandably, he seemed a bit angry still, he lost the fight so that's understandable.
"There are a lot of feelings going on right now, I've been there, so I'm happy, if he wants a rematch I'll take a rematch no problem.
"I would like to thank Eddie, his team, for putting up a hell of a show."
