Conor McGregor has posted an Instagram message taunting Floyd Mayweather ahead of his upcoming 44th birthday.
The Money has kept a low-profile recently, with his last bout coming against McGregor in 2017.
And as a result his financial might has decreased somewhat, although he is still said to be worth a staggering £510million.
Nevertheless, McGregor could not resist the opportunity to mock the American star ahead of his birthday next Wednesday after he dropped out of the Forbes list of the top ten highest-paid athletes in 2020.
McGregor posted a picture of himself squaring off against Mayweather along with the caption: "Happy birthday Floyd! We miss you on the Forbes."
McGregor himself did not make the most recent top ten list, which was topped by tennis player Roger Federer last year.
But he has spoken of his plans to make it to No.1 in the very near future.
"I’m already a very wealthy man and it is only going to go up, make no mistake about it," he said recently.
"This year I have aspirations of being the number one highest-paid athlete on the Forbes list."
It is not yet clear exactly when Mayweather or McGregor will next be in action, with The Notorious suffering a blow after being beaten by Dustin Poirier in his return to MMA action in January.
Mayweather was due to take on YouTuber Logan Paul this month, but the fight has now been pushed back and looks in danger of being scrapped altogether.
And there is still a possibility that McGregor and Mayweather could face off again, with reports recently suggesting they had been involved in billion-dollar talks over a rematch.
