Former Giants punter shows class to thief who stole his Super Bowl ring

Former NFL punter Steve Weatherford announced Tuesday on Instagram that the Super Bowl ring he won with the Giants was stolen by someone who broke into his vehicle. By itself, the theft is newsworthy to mostly the Weatherford household. Weatherford’s words to the bandit took it to another level, however.  After lamenting the loss, Weatherford ended his post by writing: “Mr. Neighborhood Robber man, I hope you tried that ring on, I

Mike Trout hits golf ball impossibly far at Topgolf event

Mike Trout is the best baseball player of his generation, an already three-time MVP at 28 years old who will waltz into the Baseball Hall of Fame upon his retirement. In a video posted to the Angels' Twitter account, Trout was shown

Watch Mike Trout hit a gosh darn golf ball to Pluto, because why not?

Spring training is only a few weeks old, but Mike Trout’s swing is in midseason form. Well, one of his swings, at least. On Sunday, the Angels’ Twitter handle posted a video of the outfielder absolutely demolishing a golf ball at what appears to be a Top Golf location. Trout smashed the ball and watched it sail deep into the night, like it was just any routine, lame-ass baseball on a May home run

World Series or bust: Mookie Betts stuns new Dodgers teammates with spring training challenge

PHOENIX — David Price's cell phone rang on the eve the Los Angeles Dodgers' first spring training workout. Mookie Betts, his teammate with the Boston Red Sox who was traded with him to LA, had an idea he wanted to run by Price. Price listened, gave his blessing, but still wasn’t sure how this would come across. After all, they were the new kids on the block, and now Betts wanted to lecture

What should NFL Academy prospects have been watching at the 2020 Scouting Combine?

While the NFL Combine’s on-field drills have assisted teams in profiling the top college prospects, they have also proven a useful source of education for the UK’s NFL Academy athletes. Indianapolis has showcased the searing speed of Alabama wide receiver Henry Ruggs III, hosted stock-boosting efforts from Iowa offensive lineman Tristan Wirfs and underlined the already well-documented talent of versatile Clemson linebacker Isaiah Simmons. The value of the combine workouts
