WHAT’S THE SERIES ABOUT?
The series is a behind the curtain look at the Chicago Bulls and their 1997/98 season in what was their final championship year. It capped off a historic run with their sixth championship in eight seasons and marked the second time in that run they’d go back-to-back-to-back.
Not only is the series about that season, but it looks back into the lives of the central figures from Michael Jordan to Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman and even the mastermind head coach Phil Jackson.
Footage from on court action throughout the season, to clips from practice and even in the locker room.
WHO IS INVOLVED IN THE SERIES?
Michael Jordan is once again the central figure, but players from the championship winning team are involved as is Phil Jackson and Chicago Bulls owners Jerry Reinsdorf.
Of course it’s not just those from the inner sanctum, the docuseries includes journalists who covered the team back in the day to notable Bulls fans in Barack Obama and Bill Clinton.
The first two episodes of the 10-part documentary The Last Dance will air on Netflix Australia on April 20 with two episodes to be released every following week.
