Bikini loving gymnast with army of fans is now millionaire thanks to rule change

A bikini loving gymnast who shares sizzling swimwear snaps with fans has become a millionaire after her sport changed a strict rule.

Olivia Dunne is now one of college gymnastics' best paid stars after a decision which allows students to earn money off their image and make endorsement deals.

The stunning blonde has now made her first million dollars just a year after the rule change.

Olivia, 19 has competed with the American national gymnastics team in the past and now performs at Louisiana State University (LSU).

Under the strict rules governing the sport, colleges are barred from paying their athletes, but a change in 2021 allowed them to let the gymnasts earn cash in other ways.

For Olivia, that means cashing in on her phenomenal figure and good looks and last year she signed with sports agency WME Sports to get some lucrative deals lined up.

Olivia has also amassed a huge following on social media with 1.8 million on Instagram and 5.6 million on TikTok.

And it's on TikTok that Olivia is proving to be a huge star where her daily videos give an insight into her life and also are a chance to show off her stunning gymnastics-honed body in a series of bikini snaps.

According to TikTok Wiki, she is now earning around $10k per TikTok post and the same on Instagram. She has also signed endorsements with brands.

These include activewear company Vuori, American Eagle, protein and supplements firm PlantFuel, and Bartleby, a study tool and homework helper for college students.

She's also secured one-off deals with TooFaced cosmetics, GrubHub, Madden/EA Sports, and the Nate app. Her latest collaboration is with clothing retailer Forever 21 for their Barbie range. How much she has earned from these brand deals is still unavailable, but is thought to be hundreds of thousands of dollars.

A former coach at LSU said Dunne was set to make millions now the strict rule had been relaxed. The coach, D-D Breaux, said: "She’s an incredible gymnast, a beautiful girl and a wonderful personality that comes across in her social media posts.

"She’s just a fabulous young woman. I could see her signing endorsements with a clothing line or a cereal company or anything. There are lots of great gymnasts, but it’s her personality on social media that sets her apart."

Entertainment lawyer Roy Maughan Junior agrees and thinks that her income could easily be seven figures.

He said: "I know of a college football player from a small school who just signed for $2.4 million. It could happen.

"Her reach as an athlete is what is impressive — five million on social media. The fact that she has that following, she can touch a lot of people. She could endorse sports drinks, gymnastics wear, other clothes."

Olivia was a member of the USA national gymnastics team in 2017 and now trains at Eastern National Academy in New Jersey.

She has been combining being a social media influencer with her gymnastics career, which sees her competing on the floor, bars, vault and beam.
